About Rock N Roll Rentals
Our Story
Rock n Roll Rentals began in the mid-1980s with a simple idea: make high-quality musical equipment more accessible to Austin’s growing music community.
What started as a small concept built around musicians and gear trading quickly grew into something much larger. As Austin’s live music scene expanded, so did the need for reliable, affordable access to professional sound, lighting, and musical equipment.
Since 1989, we’ve grown alongside Austin’s music and event industry, supporting generations of musicians, DJs, event planners, schools, churches, venues, and production teams.
Today, Rock n Roll Rentals operates two Austin locations — South Austin (Oltorf) and North Austin (Burnet) — serving the entire city with one of the largest selections of professional audio, lighting, DJ, and event gear available for rent.
We continue to expand our inventory and services to support everything from live shows and festivals to weddings, school events, and private productions across Austin.
